Agency Client Fee Schedule with the Implementation of the New License
November 7, 2007 until November 7, 2009
Adoption Advocacy, Inc. offers a wide variety of services that can offer a family the most comprehensive options in building a family through adoption. Below are three different schedules of services and corresponding fees which families may choose.
1.
Domestic Adoptions ~ Working with an In or Out-of-State Agency for Placement - With the advent of the internet and open adoptions, many South Carolina families have chosen to pursue domestic adoptions with agencies and adoption attorneys nation-wide. Adoption Advocacy, Inc. will work with a family to provide an agency home study and services that correspond with an in or out-of- state agency or in or out-of-state attorney. These services include home studies, post placement supervision, and compliance with ICPC.
Agency Fee (Which includes the agency home study) -- $1,500.00
Agency Post Placement Fee (Initial report -Due at first post placement visit) -- $500.00
Agency Post Placement Fee (Subsequent reports after the first visit and report (Due at the time of service) -- $100.00
Updates for the home study prior to the placement of a child -- $300.00

2. International Adoptions ~ Some families may choose to work with an agency outside of the state of
South Carolina
for an international placement. This may be the chosen option for a particular family for many reasons including the placement of a child from a specific country that is unavailable from local agencies, fees, or the establishment of a prior relationship with the agency. Most international agencies require a local agency to perform the home study and to accept the multi-year post placement requirements that are inherent in an international adoption. Adoption Advocacy will provide the services associated with an international adoption in order that a

family may access their desired adoption option.
Agency Fee (includes the agency home study and forwarding to ICPC*)--$1,500.00 *
Agency Post Placement Fee (Initial Report-developed to conform to
South Carolina
standard for domestication of a foreign adoption and due at the time of the visit) -- $500.00
Agency Post Placement Fee (Subsequent reports - These reports are often required over a longer period of time for an international adoption. The time schedule for the post placement reports are country specific. -- $100.00
Updates for the home study prior to the placement of a child -- $300.00
Training, if requested by the placement agency-- $200.00
* Home studies for
China
are billed at $1,700.00 due to the added requirements for meeting four times.

3. Foster Care Adoptions ~ Foster Care adoption (special needs) fees will be reduced to $1,000.00 for home studies and $150.00 for post placement reports if it is not covered by a grant program.
